FAQ
The questions buyers ask before the first call
If your question is not answered here, ask it directly. We would rather tell you we are the wrong fit early than discover it during a tender.
Working with Lunava
- Where do you deliver?
- Worldwide. We are registered in the UAE and contract internationally, delivering remotely and on the ground across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and beyond. Hosting region, data residency and on-site presence are agreed per engagement.
- How quickly can you start?
- An assessment or blueprint can typically begin within two to three weeks of signature. Full delivery teams are mobilised against an agreed start date in the contract.
- Can you work alongside our in-house team?
- Yes. We embed with internal teams and follow your standards and governance, and we are equally able to lead delivery end to end.
- What languages do you work in?
- We contract and deliver in English and Arabic, and build multilingual interfaces where the service requires them.
Commercial
- How do you price work?
- Assessments and defined-scope builds are fixed price against a written scope. Ongoing programmes are priced per dedicated squad, per month. Managed services are annual and tiered by service level. We do not quote a price before we understand the scope.
- What is the smallest engagement you take?
- A structured assessment or blueprint. Below that, a short advisory session is usually a more honest use of your budget than a small build.
- Who owns the intellectual property?
- Intellectual property in bespoke work transfers to the client on payment, with full repository access and documentation from day one.
- Which currencies do you invoice in?
- AED, USD, EUR or GBP, as set out in the contract.
Security, data and compliance
- Where is our data hosted?
- In the region your policy requires, including in-country and regional infrastructure. Data classification, residency, retention and access rules are agreed in the definition stage, before build starts.
- Do you hold certifications?
- We publish our information security practices in the Legal Centre and do not claim certifications we do not hold. Where a contract requires certified controls, we will say so plainly and agree the route to meeting them.
- How do you handle data protection across jurisdictions?
- Our data protection statement addresses GDPR, UAE PDPL and other major regimes, with a dedicated POPIA statement for South African engagements and a published subprocessor list.
- Are you independent of technology vendors?
- On procurement advisory engagements we act solely for the client, declare any interest, and do not bid for tenders we advise on.
